I-AM-BRELLA

As a Berlin startup, we have worked on the development of a unique solar umbrella, which as a stand-alone "power plant" delivers much more energy than existing umbrellas with the same intention, thanks to a patented simple but very effective method of integrating solar modules into the umbrella.

The innovation focuses on widening the upper struts of the screen, using the space gained to install narrow, long solar modules and fixing the screen fabric between the struts with keder profiles.
Simple and highly efficient.
On a 4-metre screen, an enormous collector surface of approx. 2 square metres is created and, thanks to high-quality monocells, an output of 320 W/p.
